Where has all the rock gone?

I have been flipping through the radio stations lately and I have noticed ( at least here in town) that there are CLASSIC ROCK stations, BEAR ROCK ( which is pretty much NU METAL) and Crap U93 junk. Is there even any modern rock bands out there anymore. I am not talking about the dinosaurs that have been doing it for 30+ years. I am talking about a handful of teenies that start a ROCK band. Well, now that i think about it. Here in town, there are a few bands that pass themselves off as punk that I think are more rock than anything. But then again, I guess that is why they call it punk ROCK. I don't know. All of these genres and subgenres makes it soooo confusing.

So, tell me about some modern rock bands that are out there!!!!!
